My favorite driver drops off podium gambling and my most hated driver wins. What a crappy day Is it stupid that as a Canadian the Canadian GP is actually one of the races I hate most because of the time it is on? I actually prefer watching the races in the middle of the night/early morning than in the afternoon. Maybe it is just being used to watching at those times that watching at this time seems off.

Shame Vettel didn't come in while Alonso gambled because he would have been 2nd and those 6 points would have put him 1st in the driver standings instead of 3rd. Really didn't understand their strategy. Was obvious he wasn't catching Alonso and was obvious he was seeing a big drop off so at most they were thinking 2nd over 3rd while Ferrari were at least gambling to try and win.

Fucking dumbass Fox Sports/Speed/Assholes. This shit (and next two races) are taped delayed bullshit. Some of the best races of the season ruined because of this. And I'm not going to waste my time watching taped delayed events so there goes your viewership. And judging by all the bitching at Speed's F1 Facebook page there are a lot of viewers they just lost because of this. There is absolutely nothing on at 7AM on Sunday on Fox so why delay this shit?

Anyways good to hear Kimi's finish.

Wish Pastor was close enough to knock out Alonso too right near the end even though I don't hate Alonso like I do Hamilton. I just don't like what it did to the championship race and Kimi winning would have been better Vettel has looked more dangerous the last few races though. Had a poor race in Montreal but the qualifying showed he could have done better and yesterday was shaping up to be a slaughter before the car died. And Webber ending up fourth from where he started is pretty crazy on that track even if it was an out of the ordinary race.

Seems kind of odd that the top two drivers who were going strong before that safety car ended up out of the race with the exact same problem. And not like they were on the same team with the same car. Was the safety car letting off some bad emissions that screwed with the two cars that were closest to it or something? Or just a really strange coincidence

I propose next season Valencia is shown picture in picture the whole race. Half screen Red Bull Pool and half screen the race

Excellent race today. Seemed the harder tires were the way to go today. I wonder if a chassis set up for wet conditions plays better with harder tires.

Makes me think that would be the better strategy. Make your car work with hard tires the best because that's what you run on the longest.

This is also the second race where late tire strategy costed Alonso a win. He could be way ahead of the field by now.

Still hoping lotus can break through and get a win at some point. Either Kimi or Grosjean.

Speaking of Grosjean he had an amazing run to go from dead last early to finish in the top 10.

Also did you catch Perez calling Maldonado a "stupid driver". Seems pretty clear he's falling out of favor with a lot of people. I'll definitely say he's very aggressive and likes to play bumper cars, but last race I put the blame more on Hamilton. Today's incidient I noticed his car slightly wobble heading into the turn before hitting Perez, so it could be he just lost control and slide too far up into the Sauber.

Should be interesting to see what punishment is handed out.
