Some favs in order of most to least played in my ipod:
-Lil Wayne
-Kid Cudi (consider it to be more like trip music, at least in my applications of it)
-Ludacris
-Slim Thug
-Lupe Fiasco
The only specific "subgenre" I know I like is screw.
Cudi is good shit. I'd recommend Wale, T.I., Kanye, or Young Jeezy if you like those artists.
I like Wale, Kanye, and T.I, they're just not in my top five played. Maybe I listen to rap more than I thought...
Idk man, theres a lot of stupid shit out there are far as rap in concerned nowadays.
