Thanks! They get really intense color when given the maximum light requirements, and some have different, even more intense colors than others. Trap shapes vary too, depending on the cultivar. I'd post some photos, but the majority of my flytraps look like crud because they're just coming out of dormancy (traps die off and focus on rhizome growth instead of trap growth for the winter).
They are fun, but a lot harder to care for than one might think. During the summer, I literally can't leave for more than a day or two otherwise my plants will die from drying out. If they don't get enough water, If you over-water them, don't give them enough direct sunlight, give them the wrong kind of water, too much heat, too much cold, wrong kind of soil, don't go through dormancy, they'll die. And that's just venus flytraps. Carnivorous plants all have their own special requirements. Once you get the hang of it it's easy though.
