Lizard Man vs Bane vs Loki, who would win?
Why is it that every Spiderman movie has to be in the teenage years? Why not start when he's in his late 20's? Then we could have an actor that doesn't look like an emo teenage vampire that looks like he's gonna cry.
I honestly think Garfield is a pretty good actor and can portray nerdy/weird/awkward really good. He can also portray cocky/arrogant, as well.
The problem I'm noticing with the movie clips and trailers I've seen is that it appears Garfield is locked into the "dark theme" that the studio originally claimed they were aiming for, but the execution of the director or whoever is editing the trailers together is trying so hard to still make it a cheesy generic comic book film.
Emma Stone, who's a pretty damn good young actress, even looks dumbed down in this movie based off the trailers and clips.
The result is a fucking emo spiderman with crappy CGI and dumbed down dialogue.
Of course, this is based off of what we are given. I'm hoping that they're just trying to appeal to younger kids and casual fans and the actual movie has more substance.
You know why this movie will probably be really good? Because from day 1 I've known it would suck and still do.
First reviews are in.
Empire's The Amazing Spider-Man Movie Review
http://www.totalfilm.com/reviews/cin...ing-spider-manGraced with great performances from Garfield and Stone, The Amazing Spider-Man is a rare comic-book flick that is better at examining relationships than superheroism. If it doesn’t approach the current benchmark of Avengers Assemble, it still delivers a different enough, enjoyable origin story to live comfortably alongside the Raimi era.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/f...st-review.htmlIt isn’t perfect but this reboot’s wins outweigh its wobbles. The leads charm, the action crackles and the grooves are well-laid for part two. Untold story? Next time, then.
I'm not sure if I'm going to check this out yet or not. Didn't like the look of it in the trailers, so I might wait for a few more reviews.Twilight in spandex? Well, perhaps, although it’s this radically different approach to Stan Lee and Steve Ditko’s crimefighter, who celebrates his 50th birthday this year, that makes Sony Pictures' reboot worthwhile. The Avengers fans have enough heroes already. What a thrill to see one fighting for another cause.
