PS3 will not display in HDMI

I can get it to diplay via the AV cords, but when I switch the video to HDMI and plug it in, nothing happens. What am I doing wrong here? I have been using this over HDMI for months. My TV did come up with some weird HDCP thing. Can anyone help?

Plug in the hdmi, hold the power button until it beeps multiple times and then it will reset the display.

what tv do you have?

if it's not HDCP compliant(why it wouldn't be I have no idea) it wont work
