theres nothing to really downplay. Its an apple product, on three major carriers it was expected. Hell Gears 3 sold a shit load and the gs2 is almost approaching 10 million in this down economy. I just found out that I get 20% off Apple stuff st my new job. This is making me reconsider.

Check to see if your iPhone has shipped even if you haven't received an email from them. People who ordered through Apple seem to have their phones shipped by UPS. Verizon and AT&T by FedEx.
Go to UPS Tracking, instead of tracking by #, go to tracking by reference, and enter in your telephone # associated with your Apple ID in the Shipping Reference # box (no -s, only the digits, so 1234567890). Some people are getting it to work and majority are showing a Wednesday delivery, mine isn't yet.

Yeah I just went to AT&T's website to check my 4S out and it still says "processing". Don't know what's up. Pre-ordered mine's Friday early in the morning. Seems like it would have shipped by now.
I mean, I don't need it by Friday but it seems like the order would have moved past "processing" a while ago. Are they doing priority overnight shipping?
Someone at work is trying to sell his iPhone 3GS for $250 bones...
