The game is free. You get two aircraft(one ally, one german) and you can play every maps etc. You have to buy the rest of the aircraft and such. Good setup. Just make sure you have a joystick.

Fuck, I really need a joystick. I have a CH Flightstick Pro from 1992. I can't even plug it in to my computer. It uses one of those game ports or whatever they were called.

This looks good. Will have to check it out.

One of the first online games I played was this AOL game through their game channels that was a WWII flight game that put you in either a B-17 Bomber or a fighter plane (there may have been 1 or 2 more).

But it was awesome for how rudimentary it was...being in a bomber with a good pilot and you taking up one of the gunner positions was epic.

You can take up gunner positions in Rise of Flight too. Bombers have 3.
