Spec Ops: The Line demo is up

The demo begins with a Delta Force recon team, led by Captain Martin Walker, infiltrating Dubai six months after a cataclysmic sandstorm destroyed the city and left it buried in ruin. Chaos ensues as Delta is pulled into the middle of a civil war. Walker and his team must fight their way through the unpredictable war-torn city to find the man at the heart of its madness – Colonel John Konrad.

All right, now this is one great game. Brilliant demo.

Impressive looking graphics, the controls feel smooth, and the atmosphere is very dark and grim, despite the golden theme of Dubai. This is defintely an adult themed experience.

The gunplay and aiming also feels smooth as butter. I have no complaints.

I've been reading up on Spec Ops a little more, and I like what I see. I've read things like as the game progresses, everything that you witness slowly takes it's toll on Cpt. Walker and his men, drawing them a little mad.

There is also morality based decisions to make.. None of them easy, with some bad consequences. I love the sound of it.

I recommend anyone to try out the demo.

It's decent. I don't know that I'd pay $60 for it, but that does not make it a bad game. Gameplay is very much like gears of war.

Something I thought was cool...besides the AWESOME gameplay graphics...I was running toward cover, being shot at, and I slid into cover...looked cool. It wasn't just your standard, run to cover...then you duck behind the cover. The sliding into cover was more realistic.

I was in the beta and it sucked but maybe my opinion will change when I play the demo.

Pretty good. The gameplay is really nothing new, but fun. The story is interesting as well
