I have just the AII demo and am waiting til steam summer sale to get OA expansion, is that all I need to run DayZ?

I read a few things about low textures or something if I have just the demo of AII...

Pretty sure you need CO. Not just OA. You need the full Arma 2 and the full OA expansion.

Dang. I've read a few things that say (if you play with A2 free) you're only losing a couple high res textures, and only on certain characters or something.

Everyone still play this? How's the new update? I wanna play it but heard it sucks going solo.

lol Arma 2 free makes everything low res. And it can't use OA to my knowledge.

The new update is tough. With no gun at spawn be prepared to run alot from zeds so learning how to lose them is essential for survival.
