Following West and Zampella's firings, nearly half of the remaining Infinity Ward employees resigned. Throughout April and May 2010, 46 employees, among them lead designers and programmers who worked on Modern Warfare 2, abruptly left Infinity Ward. All have so far declined to comment on their reasons for leaving

I thought MW3 was the last COD game Infinity Ward would make.

I interpreted it as, it was the last Modern Warfare game based around that storyline.

This is nothing new. It's just the beginning developement of the Call of Duty that will come out November 2013.

Sledgehammer co-developed MW3. The studio was basically originally created for the purpose of a Call of Duty 3rd person (Gears) game.

Then when IW started bleeding talent, Activision shifted them to be IW's bitches.

This could be the re-emergence of that game; but it's not really proof of that... as it could just be Sledgehammer continuing to help IW.

Hyper Realism means "Next Gen"...I'm sure of it...and the reason they are looking for people that know the limitations of current gen consoles is because it's the most recent consoles made...it's not like they'd ask for "someone that has developed for Next Gen consoles".

The thing is, assuming it's not a MW3 sequel, where do you go in terms of storyline? Black Ops 2 is doing the future, and we're running out of real wars that happened. Iraq? Korean War?
