I've heard great things about the playthroughs for Super Mario Land 3D. It's apparently got gameplay features from the first couple Super Mario games, as well as the variety of Galaxies. Plus, new suit revealed! http://ds.ign.com/articles/119/1199009p1.html

I just watched some Super Mario 3D Land videos today and my God, I must have it day one. Looks phenomenal.

Actually, scratch that. I'll make an official WCG handheld thread closer to the Vita's launch, and when I'm sober.
For now, let's keep this to 3DS.
Actually, if hub or Brutis can change the name to the "Official WCG Handheld Thread" we could roll with it. I'd edit the OP with Vita updates as well, since this thread is pretty active.
What you could do is create the official handheld thread and have someone merge this one in with it.
If anyone has a 3DS that is collecting dust, and really enjoyed Super Metroid or any of the DS Castlevanias, or SotN, up you have no excuses. I just picked up Aliens Infestation for $20 and have played 2 hours. What can I Say, the 2D artwork and animations rocks, and the platforming is top notch. I would have paid full price ($29.99 MSRP) or even $39.99 had this been on 3DS. Wayforward has definitely proven themselves as a developer of these types of games.

On another note, I just watched another Super Mario 3D Land video, and FUUUUUU. I can't wait. Looks like a great Galaxy/NSMB hybrid.
Just brought the same case you brought beast, had to get it off ebay because amazon.co.uk only do a small version of it and amazon.com wouldn't ship it to the UK. The fact it can hold everything (charger, console etc) and holds 40 games was a real seller.
And on the topic of Aliens Infestation beast, that will be my next (3)DS game purchase i think, game looks excellent.
Going to be a good couple of months for my 3DS. Got Super Mario and Zoo Resort (REALLY looking forward to this, love Zoo Tycoon DS) coming out on the same day here. Then Mario Kart in December, and i may pick up Tales of the Abyss somewhere in between too.
PLUS Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 and F1 2011 have both been confirmed to be coming to the 3DS, which is fantastic news for me, will be day 1'ing both of them.
I'm getting F1 for the Vita, and to warn everybody, Aliens is fucking hard.
And Vita prices are announced in Japan. They roughly translate to about $70 USD. Before you all get antsy, Japan severely overpriced stuff compared to America. Monster Hunter 3 on PSP sold for about $75 when it launched in Japan, when it released here it was $39.99. I'm betting on most Vita games retailing at $39.99.

Crikey, just seen that Cave Story 3D ALSO comes out on the same day as Zoo Resort and Super Mario. Never played it and i really want to, so i will be grabbing that too. Crikey, Nov 11th is going to bankrupt me.
