It's not legal, but it is like jaywalking, rarely enforced but even if you do get caught it isn't a big deal.

I've had people ship to me from Belgium via USPS and never had an issue. Not sure how your customs are but I do know if many people from the site I frequent that trade with Canadians all the time.

Only crappy part is the shipping cost is pretty high.

You just have to pay the duty on it. Which can get REALLY expensive.

I don't know anything about Canadian law, I was just referencing our United States Postal service, which it's illegal to ship alcohol through. But you can use Fedex/UPS which technically isn't illegal, it's just against their policy. The problem is the shipping for FedEx/UPS is way way higher than USPS so people take their chances.

Our postal service is ran by the Government whereas FedEx/UPS are privately owned companies.

Don’t send alcohol. And, in most cases, don’t send prescription drugs, cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, or handguns.

Alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, or liquor) are not considered hazardous but can’t go in the mail. If you’re reusing a box displaying their alcohol brands, all logos and labels need to be covered up.
