Lack of shade + Too many windows that face east and west, vaulted ceilings leave little room for insulation, 2 large skylights also leave little room for insulation.

That's about it. There are things to improve, but they are all incredibly expensive.

It can also be 90 outside and less than 90 inside. It really is all down to how sunny it is.. which makes the windows the rather obvious culptrit. It's also why it can stay warm in the winter inside.. just has to be sunny and the house naturally heats.

Yes, technically all "insulation" issues, but just spraying more insulation in our tiny attic likely wouldn't make much difference.

And yeah, that's the eventual plan.. hesitate on spending much of anything on this place since we aren't sure how long we want to be here in the first place.

My house is exactly opposite of yours. Its 90 outside, 75 inside.

No trees, sun beating down on two huge bay windows all day.

Never turn on the AC.

And it was 75 outside and 75 inside here today.

But you really have to manage the windows and fans and all that. If you dont it can easily get 90.

Because we have 12+ large windows that get a ton of sun, and vaulted ceilings, etc.

If it was only 75 degrees in July, I'd probably kill myself.

It's been in the mid-high 90's lately and I love it besides the humidity. It's Florida humidity with Laredo heat.
