Japan on that day truly did wake up a sleeping giant. The mindset of non intervention changed forever. The what if game is interesting to consider. What if Japan never attacked us? I wonder what the mindset of our country would be today in regards to foreign policy.

Of course the Japanese weren't saints either, but the whole romance everyone has with war needs to stop.
Hundreds of thousands of INNOCENT people died in Nagasaki and Hiroshima, and you're trying to justify it by showing two instances of Japanese Imperial soldiers doing horrible things.
There are American soldiers and Marines who rape and murder middle eastern people. Do we deserve to be nuked for that?

The reason I said Japanese people aren't saints is because that's how they look these days. They're respectful and nice and a total juxtaposition to us loud, abrasive, obnoxious yanks. I'm just saying looks can be deceiving.
