I know this is old, but it's an amazing video.
Surprised there are planes allowed that close at launch.

I'm betting the height of the plane makes it look closer than it is.
They're not as close as they look, probably about 30-40 miles or so.

They not directly underneath the flight path either, which apparently is a huge consideration before launch is approved (same goes for boats).
Sometimes I wrestle with my demons.
But most of the time, we just snuggle.
I cringed a few times.
