He makes a good point, though I really don't look to space anymore as the big dream. We can get back to it one day but I would LOVE to see the effort we put into our own space race put into helping our planet and its people. The biggest thing slowing us down is corporate greed and government arrangements. In some ways there isn't much money to be made from having a truly green world that uses far less fossil fuels. Sadly I think our species won't really go green until after the oil is gone, we went through our WWIII/Mad Max stage, and out of pure desperation we then go that route.
