Could be inferred as "no blacks", but there are plenty of people that dress like that down here. Pretty much any time I "go out", I'm in a button down and nice jeans/shoes, so dress code has never been an issue.

I'd prefer a club with a dress code to one without, but I'd prefer a good bar over either of those.

I love wearing a hat. I hate when I'm not allowed to. That's pretty much my issue with dress codes. That and when it's humid as hell out and 95+ and I'm in a dress shirt and dress pants sweating my ass off.

I agree with extreme burrito. That seems pretty standard and it tends to keep SOME of the problematic people out. And no... it's not just blacks that dress like that. All in all, if you are a guy, you need to have two decent looking chicks with you to get in (at least where the 'trendy' places are). If the guy-to-girl ratio is 3 or more, then they'll forget the dress code.
