No! I recently had to touch up my daughters room, which is pink. Unfortunately I lost the original can of paint, but I thought hey no big deal, I'll just peel a chip off the wall and eye it and match it to another pink using one of those sample cards.
HOW MANY FUCKING SHADES OF PINK DOES THE HUMAN RACE NEED?????
Seriously, my eyes were fucking with me after looking at about 15 samples. Finally I just said fuck it and repained the whole room using a slightly brighter pink. When I finished, my daughter said Daddy it looks the same.

@Ferris : You know they have computers and/or people that will match paint for you at paint stores?
Yeah, I did that...for a few rooms actually. None of them came out right, really close, but noticeably darker. Part of it was probably because the paint was fresher, but I think it was just the wrong color also. So I thought I'd try and eye it for the pink room.
It's possible the guy who mixed it was a tard. I gave him some paint from the wall that I cut off, he put it in this little thingy with a hole that was hooked to the PC.
Edit: Looking again the two that I did do are really close. I probably should have just done that with the pink. lol
