gotta love that opening line.
I'M FREE... ALIVE!!!!
I'M MASTER AND COMMANDER... OF MY LIFE... OF MY FATE... OF MY FAITH... IN US!!!!
We're all we have now. Alone.
We're all we have now... who?
Ron Paul doesn't know who Rocky Balboa is.
He can NOT be President. Ever.

OK, all joking aside, I just finished watching all three of those videos.
I agree with his stance on many issues that were discussed. HOWEVER...
The man doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell of ever becoming President. He was WAY too wishy washy on a number of issues. Piers didn't bully him (for the most part) and he was unable to come out strong with his viewpoints. I actually felt a little bit sad for the old guy. He didn't really NAIL any arguments - he was just kind of vanilla. And the moments he wasn't vanilla, he looked confused.
ESPECIALLY with the abortion issue. That was seriously pathetic (from a right to choose perspective). I would venture to say that the right to life people would feel the same way, if not more disgusted.
And then (and this may seem trivial, but we're talking about the biggest event in the USA...) he didn't know what Piers was talking about when he asked, "Giants or Patriots?"
Sorry folks. That's a killer right there. You can NOT be President and not have the slightest clue about about the biggest annual cultural event in your country. That screams "I don't care about the people" as much as he would like to pretend he is all about "the people". He doesn't even know who "the people" are.
Night night Ron. Go drink some Metamucil and get a good sleep. You're wasting your money and the taxpayer's time by continuing to believe this fallacy that you could ever become President.

Ok you're right. The payroll figures have only been done this way for over a decade....I think we can trust them to tell us exactly what we thought they were telling us 10 years ago. And 8 years ago. And 5 years ago. And 3 years ago before Obama took office.
This is a silly response. If people who were 'already rich' stopped caring about money they probably never would have become rich in the 1st place.
And to say I was too busy to read a newsletter is such a stupid argument I can't believe anyone would actually repeat that line of his.
If I was making a million dollars off something decades ago when a million dollars was still a vast sum of money....would I...or would you....simply ignore where it was coming from? From a politician it is simply too much to believe. These guys are snakes. All of them.
I just really hope that it isn't true that RP was meeting personally with white supremacist racists.
Of course I know there will always be unemployment. Don't be obtuse. The point I was making, which should have been obvious, is that most of our poor are unemployed....and there isn't enough jobs for everyone who wants a job to have one. How then is it that people are choosing to be poor when this reality exists?
P.S. the full employment rate is usually around 5% for developed nations. But that is usually because people transition into and out of the workplace, not because there is structural unemployment or because businesses don't want to hire.

I've noticed recently in interviews, speeches, debates, etc he's really been having a tougher time getting his point across. He's even longer winded than usual (although not a problem to me... I like listening to knowledgeable, smart old people talk even if they ramble) and misspeaking quite often. I'd probably attribute that to the campaign trail being so tedious at this point. Not much of an excuse considering being president is no cakewalk, but this primary contest has been very tedious compared to any other election he's run in, I'd be willing to assume.
And lol screw football. I'm glad he had no idea what that shit was about. I don't want some rabid football fan-in-chief, I want someone who understands how real shit works. Not some stupid ass game with little fatasses running around on a field sticking balls up their asses and dancing around like retards.
What game are you watching?
I don't' care about the partisan politics of the situation; my point is that these numbers only look good. They are not telling you what you think they are. They are lying too you (yes, they've been lying for more than a decade, but its still a lie).Ok you're right. David Ben Gurion (the first Israeli Prime Minister): "If I were an Arab leader, I would never sign an agreement with Israel. It is normal; we have taken their country. It is true God promised it to us, but how could that interest them? Our God is not theirs. There has been Anti - Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault ? They see but one thing: we have come and we have stolen their country. Why would they accept that?"
The statistics can be misleading because, obviously, the number has a numerator and a denominator and it isn't always clear which one is moving unless you dive into the statistics.
But it should be obvious that a decreasing number coupled wwith the other positive indicators in the economy clearly show an economy on the mend. And one that will be in much better shape (baring some catastrophe) come election day.
Just as I predicted.
And argue this number all you want, but it was I in the darkest days of the economy who surveyed the world and said things look good. You disagreed. I think at this point we know who was right and who was wrong. That is good enough for me. and you should be happy to be wrong.
Btw I ran a 2.86 40 today and leaped 105.2 inches. Couldn't let your increased numbers beat mine for long.

Obama at Prayer Breakfast: Jesus Would Want Us to Tax the Rich | Video | TheBlaze.com
President Barack Obama said Thursday his proposal to raise taxes on wealthy Americans is in accordance with the teachings of Jesus Christ.
“When I talk about shared responsibility, it’s because I genuinely believe that in a time when many folks are struggling and at a time when we have enormous deficits, it’s hard for me to ask seniors on a fixed income or young people with student loans or middle-class families who can barely pay the bills to shoulder the burden alone,” Obama said during the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington.
He continued, “And I think to myself, if I’m willing to give something up as somebody who’s been extraordinarily blessed and give up some of the tax breaks that I enjoy, I actually thinks that’s going to make economic sense.”
“But for me as a Christian, it also coincides with Jesus’ teaching that, ‘for unto whom much is given, much shall be required,’” he said.
That principle, Obama said, also “mirrors the Islamic belief that those who’ve been blessed have an obligation to use those blessings to help others, or the Jewish doctrine of moderation and consideration for others.”
“We can’t leave our values at the door,” Obama said. “If we leave our values at the door, we abandon much of the moral glue that has held our nation together for centuries and allowed us to become somewhat more perfect a union.”
Obama said he wakes up every morning and says a “brief prayer” and spends “a little time in scripture and devotion.” He said pastors sometimes come to the Oval Office to pray with him, for his family and for the country.
“But I don’t stop there, I’d be remiss if i stopped there,” Obama said. “If my values were limited to personal moments of prayer or private conversations with pastors or friends — so instead I must try, imperfectly, but I must try to make sure those values motivate me as one leader of this great nation.”
